Coronary CT angiography (cCTA) is gaining more and more acceptance as a non-invasive test for symptomatic patients with a low to intermediate risk of coronary artery disease. Despite its strengths in ruling out CAD, cCTA has its limitations. Its specificity may be undermined in certain conditions, such as reduced image quality due to blooming or motion artifacts. Siemens has taken up the challenge and has introduced a powerful set of features to reduce false positive findings and boost specificity in cardiac imaging.
